Johnny Galver, Head PT

Johnny loves to cycle, golf, and bass fish along with many other outdoor activities. He is a die-hard OSU Beaver fan and alumnus. Johnny loves to BBQ on his Treager(s) and to cook when at home, but most of all he loves spending time with his family and in the Word.

Johnny is the President and Owner at BPM. Some of his past professional experiences include, but are not limited to: Director of Rehabilitation Services at Heart of the Valley Health Care Center, Corvallis, Oregon; Director of Rehabilitation at Sunnyside Care Center, Salem, Oregon; Director of Rehabilitation at Hillhaven Care Center, Medford, Oregon; and Rehabilitation Services Manager at Cascade Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy, Bellevue, Washington. Johnny has been in a leadership position throughout most of his physical therapy career along with clinical instructing and served as secretary for the OPTA for two years.

Johnny received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University in 1982, GO BEAVS! He received his Physical Therapy Certificate in 1986 from California State University, Northridge/UCLA Hospitals and Clinics. His specialties include vestibular screening and fall risk reduction and prevention. Other areas of special interest include postural retraining, motor control and learning approach to rehabilitation, and improving a patient’s ability to move there center of gravity through space.

Sally galver -

Sally is a native Oregonian who graduated with a BS in Business and Personnel Administration from Oregon State University in 1982. She and her husband, Johnny, have two daughters, Stephanie and Samantha. Stephanie is a licensed Massage Therapist and owns her own massage studio Haven Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Samantha is a registered nurse, married, and has two daughters. Sally loves the outdoors. Some of her favorite activities include walking, hiking, kayaking, and backpacking. She also enjoys bible study, time with friends and family and being involved in her church. Gardening, crafting and decorating are high on her hobby list as well as health, fitness, and nutrition. Sally loves to stay active, and most of all to spend time with their two granddaughters, Lyla and Kallie!

Some of her previous HR experience in California includes Commercial/Industrial Real Estate in San Jose, Technical Publications in the Silicon Valley and Entertainment Insurance in Beverly Hills. She also worked in Redmond, Washington for a Seafood Processing Company with Alaska Operations.

JODy STORY, PTA, LMT

Jody graduated in 1996 with a BS in Health Promotion and Fitness Management from Southern Oregon University. He received his license in Massage Therapy from Ashland Massage Institute in 1999.

Jody has been with BPM since 2009. He received his license as Physical Therapist Assistant from Lane Community Community College in August 2021.

Jody has completed continuing education classes in Primal Reflex Release Technique, Neural Reset Therapy, and myofascial release from Advanced Training’s Til Luchau.

Jody spends his free time with his family (which includes his wife and three boys), coaching lacrosse at West Salem High School, and serving on the board of directors for Salem Keizer Youth Lacrosse League since 2008. He has a passion for people who are in pain and to help them achieve a level of function that enables them to enjoy life.

Kaitlyn Ragan, PTA

Kaitlyn moved from the southern Oregon coast to the Willamette valley in 2015 to attend Western Oregon University and knew soon after moving that the valley is where she wanted to settle down.

She took courses focused on exercise science and sought out BPM Physical Therapy to begin gaining hands on experience as a PT Aide. She genuinely enjoys getting to know each patient while guiding them through their exercises. Kaitlyn has been a part of the BPM team since 2016 and received her Physical Therapist Assistant license from Lane Community College in August 2022.

Aside from work, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time playing with her son and exploring the PNW by hiking and paddle boarding. She also enjoys dreaming up DIY projects that will hopefully become a reality someday.
